The Lilac Door

Lambeth, London, United Kingdom United Kingdom

About our B&B

Built in 1911, The Lilac Door is situated in West Dulwich, a leafy pleasant part of London, just 12 minutes to the centre by very frequent train.
We've lived here for 30 years and whilst the external part of The Lilac Door is still Edwardian we have upgraded every internal part to make it relaxed and welcoming for our guests.
View our on line presence for full details of every room.
In every room there's a well stocked tea / coffee tray, delicious biscuits, bottled water, waffle robe and slippers and on arrival, you'll find a pampering carton of chocolate truffles on your bed.
At breakfast, we provide a wide selection from traditional English, to French Toast!
Nearby are a variety of places to eat, parks to walk and the famous Dulwich Picture Gallery to admire.
With bookshops, specialised delis and vintners and a whole variety of independent shops within easy walking distance and with great connections to Central London, Dulwich is an ideal base for a City visit.
